Philadelphia Zorg supports people with disabilities in leading their lives. Their online platform “Mo” serves as a digital community for clients where they can find useful information, interact and play games. Philadelphia as asked Virtually Human to create a Digital Human that acts as a “buddy” for their clients and that – in the future – should be able to support clients in their daily lives.

The appearance of the Digital Human has been designed by a group of students in the Minor "Digital Humans - Real Fake, Real Impact" of the Rotterdam University of Applied Science. Based on interviews with the people who will be using Noah (as she is called) once she is deployed, there was a strong wish for a cartoonish looking Digital Human to make clear that they are not chatting with a real person.

Now, December 2024, another team of students is working on the content for Noah. A first version should be ready to be deployed in February 2025.
